Local Beaches

Gwenver:

One of Cornwall’s most stunning beaches, secluded and sheltered. It is well known for excellent surfing conditions, and is ideal for families with small children who will love the rock pools. It is accessed very near our properties by a flight of steps.

The beach has Lifeguards in the summer and is dog friendly .

At low tide you can walk to Sennen very easily. When the tide is high, you can walk over the cliffs.

Sennen Cove:

Great place to spend the whole day. There is a surf school, plus a beach cafe, shop and upmarket restaurant. There are 3 car parks in Sennen.
Sennen Cove also has a good pub ‘The Old Success ‘, Fish and chip shop and General Store.

Nanjizal:

A real find! Hidden away, and well worth the walk to get there. Great for seal spotting .

Porthcurno:

Approx 3 miles away, this beach is owned by The National Trust. Lifeguards in the summer, and can be excellent for swimming. Beautiful walks around.
The Minack Theatre is situated on the cliffs at the Western end of the beach.
